So who are we and why do we sell £1Million notes?
Being a Millionaire is the brain child of Peter Dickson.
Peter was inspired by the book 'The One Minute Millionaire', and a result of that book, as well as a keen interest in the Law of Attraction, he decided to print his own £1Million notes to sell as visualisation tools.
This did well to begin with but as with all great entrepreneurs Pete has brilliant ideas but doesn't always see them through!
That's where I come in. I could see that BeingaMillionaire was a great idea but that Pete was struggling with the 'boring' bits of the business like going to the post office! We decided that I should take over, which I did in May 2008.
My name is Andrea Daly and I have been working for the past 15 years as a Holistic Therapist and Holistic Therapy Lecturer.
After the birth of our third child I took the decision to leave my job and concentrate on Being A Millionaire full time. Pete is my partner (both business and pleasure!!!) and was looking for a new direction for the website, plus as a busy and successful sales trainer he just didn't have the time to devote to it.
I also have an interest in the Law of Attraction and see it work for Peter and I on a daily basis. The £1Million note works as an excellent focusing tool as well as being a fantastic gift for friends, family, business associates and work colleagues.
On the whole we get great responses to the note, huge grins appear on peoples faces and many are incredibly enthusiastic. We've only had a few negative reactions, but we are happy to accept those and move on. Nothing has dampened our spirits.
I have big things planned for BAM. Lots of interactivity between the website and customers, great links to other similar businesses, a developing resource page plus more charity work. Not to mention our products being available in shops the length and breadth of the UK!
I'm running the London Marathon next year for Macmillan support ...and 10% of our 2009 revenue are being donating to that cause.
